20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

1 Corinthians 15:20-28

These verses give a brief synopsis of God’s redemption. Christ the firstborn from the dead, resurrected unto eternal life. We will be born from the dead at the resurrection, the rapture. This completes our redemption.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

God the father put all things under the feet of Christ, except himself.

Genesis 41:39-40 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: 40Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

After the rapture, God’s judgment upon the whole earth begins and the great tribulation of Israel, leading into the millennial reign of Christ and the final judgments at the end of that. Then the new heaven and earth are brought in and Christ will present all things back to the Father.

It began with God, the Father, creating the heaven and the earth where he dwelt within his creation, and it will end the same.
