Do the cut off olive branches of Romans 11 prove that salvation can be lost?

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Romans 11:1

No one that has salvation is losing it. There is no individual concern in romans 1-11, but only groups, sets, of people: Saved vs lost, Jew vs. Gentile, belief vs unbelief. Chapters 9-11 are dealing with Israel, Jews.

Romans 11:11-12 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

If they were broken off due to their rejection of Jesus Christ they were not saved and could not lose it. This of course is speaking to the national rejection of Christ. Individual Jews believe and were saved.

The Gentiles are being spoken of as nations also. Just as America has turned from God and is being cursed for it. Our founders were believers in the God of the Bible and our nation was blessed for it; individaul believers are still being saved and in no danger of losing it.

Romans 11:25-27 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Romans 11:11 KJV I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

When the nation of Israel’s leaders rejected Jesus at the preaching of Stephen, it was there last chance, God set Israel aside for a time and sent the gospel to the Gentiles. The Temple was destroyed and the people of Israel were dispersed throughout the world. God is now turning back to Israel and bringing the people back to the land and preparing to enter into the Tribulation and the salvation of the nation of Israel.
