As I understand Antinomianism, it is the belief that once saved, sin is of little consequence.: “Everybody does it sometimes. Don’t be a legalist. It’s not a big deal.”

Antinomianism: The theological doctrine that by faith and God’s grace a Christian is freed from all laws (including the moral standards of the culture)

—Shorter Oxford English Dictionary

Nothing could be further from biblical truth.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:11-13 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

The law and sin may not be able to condemn and damn us, but it is still sin and against God and our Saviour. All things may be lawful for us, but all things are not appropriate or advantageous to our purpose of living for God and witnessing his saving grace.

1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

All those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ will stand before His Judgment Seat and give an account of our lives from the time of our salvation until death or his coming. We will be rewarded or suffer the loss of rewards. We are not given a description of what all that refers to, but you can be sure you will want to receive rather than lose rewards.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
