Does the Bible say that braids are a sin?

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1 Timothy 2:8-10

It is saying that the vain fascination with style, fads, makeup, fancy apparel, and hair dews, is not supposed to be the occupation of a woman’s mind and time. It does not mean you have to dress in a potato sack or cannot put your hair in braids, or a ponytail, etc. But spending 3 hours and 200.00+ dollars in a hair salon is not what a Christian lady is supposed to do.
