Luke 24:44
Many apply the wrong idea to Christ Jesus fulfilling the law. Of course he obeyed the law, he was a faithful Israelite. Paul kept the law as well as every faithful Jew.
Philippians 3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
There was nothing of interest in the Lord obeying the law.
“all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me”
The Lord fulfilled the law in that he fulfilled all the prophesy concerning His first coming. All things written in the law and the prophets foretelling the events of his life had to be accomplished.
Matthew 2:5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
Matthew 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
Matthew 26:31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
Mark 9:12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

John 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
All the prophesies of the OT must be fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled all that applied to him and His first coming. The rest will be fulfilled in their time.
